Minister of Energy and Water, Walid Fayad, received General Security Chief, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, who briefed him on the outcomes of the visit in which he accompanied Prime Minister Najib Mikati to the State of Iraq, and the understandings reached and those that need further negotiations regarding increasing the quantities of Iraqi fuel and its sustainability, in continuation to previous agreements, which calls for a visit by the Minister of Energy to Baghdad soon.

Ibrahim relayed to the Minister of Energy “Iraq’s desire to commit to helping Lebanon in these difficult circumstances.”
