The Minister of Energy, Walid Fayyad, sent a letter to the Minister of Interior and Municipalities requesting to instruct all security agencies, governors and municipalities to take immediate legal and administrative measures to compel owners of liquid fuel distribution stations to deliver the quantities of liquid petroleum fuels delivered to them and prevent them from monopolizing and selling them to citizens according to the price table issued by the ministry. This was after it became clear that some of these stations are monopolizing fuels in an effort to store it.
