Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdallah Bou Habib, welcomed this Thursday the Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, Qian Minjian, who informed him that his country had provided 300,000 vaccines to fight the Coronavirus pandemic. Issues related to human rights were also discussed, namely those to be tackled at the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Marking the 50th anniversary of the launch of Chinese-Lebanese diplomatic relations, Bou Habib stressed “the importance of activating bilateral cooperation.”

Bou Habib later met with Spanish Ambassador Jose Maria Ferri, and tackled with him the possibility of activating bilateral cooperation between the two countries, as well as within the framework of international organizations.
