The resigned Member of Parliament Nehmat Frem expressed his fear on Tuesday from witnessing a famine similar to the one that happened in 1917.
Frem wrote on his twitter account: “In the year 2017, i was afraid that the history repeats itself, and the country witnesses a famine similar to the one that happened during the world war one in 1917.”
He added: “For this purpose we inaugurated with the Patriarch a memorial on March 4, 2018 for the famine just to remember and not repeat it”. Frem said that he ran for the elections to do everything to avoid reaching this situation, but unfortunately, no one in the state listened.
“Today the situation is much more dangerous than 2017, and the risk of witnessing famine is huge.”
1917. pic.twitter.com/iaw4DzrQzS
