An agreement to provide financial support in the amount of approximately 30 million euros for the implementation of a series of projects in the humanitarian and development fields, will be signed by that the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the French Development Agency and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in Beirut, announced the French Embassy in Beirut
This agreement, in accordance with the guidelines adopted by the President of the Republic and the Saudi Crown Prince on December 4 in Jeddah, represents an important stage in the implementation of the commitment made by the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs and his Saudi counterpart in Paris on February 28 in order to provide France and Saudi Arabia with emergency financial support for projects dedicated to the vulnerable population of Lebanon.
In a statement, the embassy indicated that these projects meet the most urgent needs of the vulnerable population in Lebanon in the priority sectors of health and food security. It aims to support Tripoli Hospital in particular, enhance access to primary health care services, and provide emergency aid, including food, to disadvantaged groups.
