United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Joanna Frontska, tweeted: “We deeply regret the failure to form a government after nine months. What happened yesterday cannot be a step forward. It is time now for a firm, honest and resolute effort to get the Lebanese people out of this predicament. There is no more time to waste.”
Yesterday, former prime minister-designate Saad Hariri, apologized for forming the government after nine months, in a time the Lebanese people are living the worst economic, political and livelihood crises, the country has ever witnessed.
