Media sources revealed that the fuel price schedule that will be issued on Wednesday will set the price of a gasoline tank at 70,000 Lebanese pounds.
The Lebanese Ministry of Energy and Water, on Tuesday, raised fuel prices by 35 percent from their old price, as a result of the partial lifting of governmental support on fuel.
The ministry published, on its official website the new price list. The price of a gasoline tank (20 liters) of “95 octane” rose to more than 60,000 LBP, an estimated increase of 16,000 LBP. The prices of the 98 octane gasoline exceeded 63,000 LBP .
The price of a diesel fuel tank exceeded 46,000 LBP, 36 percent more than its previous price.
