The media office of Caretaker Minister of Energy and Water, Raymond Ghajar, issued the following statement on Wednesday:

“Following an agreement between Minister Ghajar and Army Commander General Joseph Aoun, and pending confirmation on the opening of credits for diesel-importing ships and the unloading of fuel shipments at the facilities in Tripoli and Zahrani, the quantities allocated to the Lebanese army will be used for distribution.”

Tripoli facilities will open tomorrow, Thursday, to distribute two and a half million liters of diesel.

On Friday, Zahrani facilities will open to distribute the same quantity.
