On the occasion of Labor Day, the Minister of Labor in the caretaker government, Lamia Yammine, tweeted on her account on “Twitter” to the workers, saying:

“Lebanon’s economy and its immunity come from the strength and steadfastness of its workers, a greeting to you and your sacrifices.”

She added, “We have, in cooperation with the Social Security Fund, completed a draft of an unemployment insurance system that provides short-term salaries and health coverage. Forming a government to approve it is what is required.”

Yameem concluded her tweet by saying: “The least faith is to fulfill your rights.” May your arms stay strong always. “
