“The method taken to support medicines and fuel was wrong,” said the Head of Hospital Owners’ Syndicate in Lebanon, Suleiman Haroun, revealing that “many medicines do not exist and are not delivered.”

He pointed out via a television interview that “we did not find any solution to the issue of medicines for hospitals,” stressing that “we have been working for 3 weeks to secure diesel, and we are buying from the black market, so this issue has become a disastrous burden for the patient.”

Haroun stressed that “all sectors are suffering, and with this such a state and such officials, change is not possible, and the only solution is an external support.”
