The Ministry of Economy and Trade issued a statement saying: “In conjunction with the decline in the dollar and fuel prices the Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, decided to reduce the price of a bundle of white bread in its three sizes.”

The statement added, “The prices will become as follows: 350 grams at 5,500 pounds, 830 grams at 9000 pounds, and 1.75 grams at 11,000 pounds.”

And he continued, “To this end, Salam issued two decisions today, the first to determine the weight and price of white Lebanese bread, and the second to determine the selling price of bran and wheat flour of class 85, zero, extra, super extra and all other categories.”
