Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett stressed that Hezbollah, and under Iranian guidance of Iran, is jeopardizing the Lebanese citizens and their future, saying: “We both have a common enemy, which is Hezbollah and Iran.”

Holding Hezbollah and Iran the responsibility for the economic crisis in Lebanon, Bennett added: The state of Lebanon is collapsing, such as all the countries subjected to Iranian control. Iran destroys everything it touches.

Earlier, Bennett declared that Israel is closely following the developments in Lebanon, blaming Iran for the crisis.

For its part, Hebrew media quoted Israeli army leaders, confirming the army is  ready for the hypothesis of the Lebanese state collapse, in the upcoming coming period, stressing that the army leaders are dealing seriously with studying options to confront that scenario, amid the political and economic crises exacerbation.

The Israeli military leaders suggested that Hezbollah, and in order to avoid  a military escalation with Israel,  would try to contain its country’s crisis.

Simultaneously, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett stressed that Israel has all the capabilities and preparations to confront the Lebanese Hezbollah militia, which he described as a common enemy of Israel and the Lebanese people, accusing the militias of operating according to Iranian orders that endanger the Lebanese and their future, as he described it.

Bennett indicated that his government would not allow any country or any “terrorist” organization to threaten the security of Israel and its citizens, in reference to Hezbollah and the Iranian regime.

It is noteworthy that Lebanon has been witnessing an unprecedented economic and living crisis for years, especially with the collapse of the exchange rate of the Lebanese pound against the dollar, as research sources revealed that Lebanon’s debts exceeded its average income for the next forty years.
