Former Deputy Prime Minister Ghassan Hasbani tweeted the following:

“According to the Head of the Parliamentary Health Committee, the dollar bill for importing medicine till May 2021 has exceeded last year’s bill. However, we keep facing drugs shortage. How do the drugs and the funds of people disappear? Where are the procedures taken against smuggling? How does the Ministry of Health justifies this?”

بحسب رئيس لجنة الصحة النيابية، فاتورة الدولار لاستيراد الدواء حتى شهر ٥ من هذه السنة فاقت حجم تحويلات العام الماضي مجتمعة، والأدوية مقطوعة في السوق. فأين تتبخر الأدوية وأموال الناس معها؟ أين ترشيد الدعم واين إيقاف التهريب؟ اين وزارة الصحة من كل ذلك؟
