The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement:

In the aim of countering human smuggling from Syria into Lebanon, a patrol of the Internal Security Forces’ Information Division in the North Governorate arrested /26/ Syrians for illegally entering Lebanese territory.

The arrested individuals where referred to the Machta Hassan police station in the regional gendarmerie unit to take legal action against them in conformity with the competent court’s order.
