The Minister of Education Abbas Halabi said that he met with teachers’ unions in both public and private schools and was briefed on their requests.

He thought it would be beneficial to reconnect with everyone in a television interview, and that he has a series of ideas that could lead to a breakthrough in the issue and the timely resumption of the school year.

He said that while the status of the treasury may prevent compensation adjustments, there is a chance to achieve an agreement on this matter, adding that he will meet with the Prime Minister today to learn more about the state’s capabilities.

He stated that children in formal education should not be held responsible for the crisis, and that we, as a ministry, are working to ensure that the school year runs well.
