The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces responds to a letter sent stipulating to ensure security personnel for a family occasion for one of the former ministers.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces would like to explain the following:

This decision was made in response to information disseminated through social media platforms suggesting the intention of activists to demonstrate at the aforementioned location, which might lead to acts of security breach. As a result, in line with Article One of the Internal Security Forces Law, the first paragraph, it has become our responsibility to preserve security and order.

And to those who say that we apply the law to certain individuals but not others, we respond that in the sphere of judicial police, we always operate according to the judiciary’s signal.
