Member of the Strong Republic bloc, MP Joseph Ishak, said via a radio interview that “the Strong Republic bloc does not have a specific candidate to form the government, but what is demanded, is a government of independent specialists, and any person who provides guarantees to form a similar government, will be named by the bloc, which hesitates in naming any president-designate affiliated with the current ruling regime.” .
He added “It is not important to name a person who will lead us to a government of interests like the government of Hassan Diab.” And he considered that “the exit from the dark tunnel is through a government that gives confidence to the international community and undergoes early parliamentary elections.”
