The Israeli army spokesman launched a new threat to Lebanon, noting that “Israel will act against any attempt to violate its sovereignty or smuggling operation on the border with Lebanon.”

In a tweet Adraee said on Tuesday: “The army’s surveys yesterday evening spotted suspects approaching the security fence from Lebanon towards Israeli territory, and when calling security forces to the place, they discovered two pieces of weapons and about a hundred hand grenades.”

He added, “We will continue to act against any attempt to violate Israel’s sovereignty, or carrying out acts of sabotage or smuggling on the borders with Lebanon.”
