Israeli forces on Wednesday carried out excavation works near the sand road they have recently constructed facing the southern Lebanese village of Adaisseh, the National News Agency reported.

An Israeli infantry force also crossed the technical fence off Wazzani and headed towards the river, where it inspected the scene without breaching the Blue Line, the agency added.

Israeli violations to Lebanon’s border and airspace are commonplace amid total inaction by the Lebanese state in this regard.

Israel claims it has been engaging in such actions in anticipation of any potential attack by Lebanon’s Hezbollah group against its territories.
