The Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, sent on Thursday a strong message to Lebanon regarding Hezbollah.
Erdan tweeted: “the Lebanese state will be responsible for any behavior that Hezbollah takes against Israel.”
He confirmed meeting the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations responsible for peacekeeping operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, where he asked the United Nations to strengthen law of enforcement against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The Israeli ambassador to the United Nations appealed to the UN official to present the real situation on the ground between the Lebanese-Israeli borders to the Security Council, pointing out that “Lebanon will be responsible for any results.”
