Japanese Ambassador to Lebanon, Takeshi Okubo, on Friday reaffirmed his country’s readiness to help keep Lebanon’s health sector fortified in the face of the country’s successive crises.
“Japan has rushed to support the reconstruction of Karantina in the wake of Beirut Port blast to help re-establish the national supply chain that ensures the provision of medical supplies to institutions and hospitals. There is an urgent need to fortify the health sector in the face of successive crises, and Japan is ready to support Lebanon in this regard.”
