Sources told Sawt Beirut International that the Judicial Investigator in the Beirut Port Blast case, Judge Tarek Bitar, was notified of the dismissal decision, which was submitted by MP Nohad Mashnouk.

Bitar has suspended his investigations and all proceedings relating to the Beirut Port case until the Beirut Appeal Court, led by Judge Nassib Elia, decides whether the case should be accepted or rejected.
