The Progressive Socialist Party’s leader, Walid Jumblatt, tweeted:

Enough with the disasters… dismiss this minister before it’s too late, before he destroys our connections with the Arab Gulf.

Jumblatt’s tweet came in response to the Lebanese Minister of Information Georges Kordahi’s recent statements, and after KSA summoned its Ambassador to Lebanon for discussions and urged the Lebanese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia to depart the country within 48 hours.
