The Progressive Socialist Party’s media commission issued a statement this afternoon, indicating that “PSP Chief, Walid Jumblatt, received a call from Lebanese Democratic Party Head, MP Talal Arslan, in wake of the clash that occurred today in the town of Deir Qoubel, during which citizen Makram Nassereddine was injured, whereby emphasis was made on preventing any repercussions or consequences of the accident and limiting it to its individual nature, while relying on the judiciary.”

“The shooter was handed-over to the concerned security services that have initiated their investigations,” the statement added.
