Director General of the National Social Security Fund, Dr. office, issued the following statement:

“In commitment to his pledge that he will always be the main supporter of the hospitalization and medical sector in Lebanon, especially in light of the emerging crisis that afflicted this sector after its best doctors and nurses emigrated, the Director-General of the National Social Security Fund, Dr. Mohamed Karaki’ , issued a decision No. 586 dated 24/9/2021, according to which it was decided to give the contracting hospitals, financial advances for the month of September 2021, amounting to about 46 billion Lebanese pounds, to be distributed between hospitals and doctors, and these amounts will be transferred to the accounts of hospitals and medical committees during the next few days.

In a related context, the Director General of the Fund wished that this government would be the salvation key to for resolving the crises afflicting the country, especially regarding paying the rights and funds from the Lebanese state, which exceeded 4700 billion Lebanese pounds by the end of the year 2020.
