The meeting that was held on Saturday afternoon between the Head of the Progressive Socialist Party Walid Jumblatt , the Head of the Lebanese Democratic Party Talal Arslan, and the Head of the Arab Unification Party Wiam Wahhab, has ended.

The meeting was followed with a statement saying: “Living concerns require high levels of readiness and immediate measures should be taken to control the situation, and to hold responsibility by forming new government.”

They also thanked expatriates for standing beside Lebanese in these tough days, and appealed to them to continue supporting their families.”

They stressed in a statement, “the need for putting an end to the painful incidents that took place in the past, and to lift any support from those who violate security and stability in Mount Lebanon. They also agreed on joining efforts to organize Druze affairs.

They also said: “Extraditing the wanted detainees from both sides will be carried out to the judiciary, which will decide the cases, and punishment will be severe for anyone who holds arms or uses weapons against his brother in the Druze community.”

The attendees valued the Palestinians’ defense of their homeland. They called on officials from different parties to form a government immediately.
