MPs Ali Hassan Khalil and Ghazi Zeaiter issued the following:

“After we were informed by the media of the request of Beirut Port blast judicial investigator, Judge Tarek Bitar, to hear us in accordance with the rules.

We confirm our readiness, immediately and before the required permission is issued, to appear before the investigator to take the necessary measures to reach the truth and determine the responsibilities in this crime.”
