The Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE) said that its observers have detected “flagrant” violations, irregularities and flows in the parliamentary electoral process.

In its initial report on the elections, LADE also accused the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities of laxity in enforcing the laws, especially in light of many reported attacks on candidates, voters and delegates.

“What we observed during the election day was disappointing,” the Association said.
