The following statement was released by the Land Transport Sector Federations and Unions:

“Some media sources are disseminating information on efforts to cancel the land transport strike scheduled for tomorrow. At any cost, we insist on holding tomorrow’s protest across all Lebanese land, full stop.”

“There are no contacts, especially since Prime Minister Najib Mikati and eight ministers are abroad,” the statement said, adding that “the unions and unions did not suspend this strike unless the Council of Ministers approved the terms of the agreement concluded with the Prime Minister on October 26th, 2021.”
