The Lebanese Army has foiled today the smuggling of a substantial quantity of fuel into Syria, as well as flour and cigarettes.
The Army Command – Orientation Directorate issued the following statement:
Army units deployed in the Bekaa and the north arrested seventeen citizens and three Syrians.
The Army seized a large amount of fuel, estimated at 46,800 liters of gasoline and 2,900 liters of diesel, as well as flour and cigarettes, intended for smuggling into Syria.
