The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

“On 3/17/2021, an isolated incident developed between a number of young men in Aicha Bakkar area, which led to the wounding of four people, and they were taken to hospitals for treatment. Immediately, a force from the army intervened and proceeded to control the situation and restore the situation to normal, and arrest shooters.

The Army Command renews its call on everyone to move peacefully and not to do anything that could harm civil peace.”
