The media department of the “Lebanese Forces” party responded to the speech of the head of the “Free Patriotic Movement”, Gebran Bassil, stating the following:

“The son-in-law should have felt ashamed of himself and of his father-in-law’s history. He should have remained silent in front of the Lebanese who blamed him and his father-in-law for the disaster that had occurred. Mar Mikhael’s alliance is a subversive itself, an alliance to subject the Lebanese to weapons and corruption, and an alliance to humiliate the Lebanese.”

The Lebanese Forces said in a statement that “Since the moment his father-in-law handed him the first presidency, MP Bassil has continued to give speeches to people he has pushed to poverty, humiliation, and misery, just like his father-in-law did at the end of the last century, ruining Lebanon’s only free zone because of his presidential hunger. The son-in-law, just like his father-in-law, believes that the Presidency “chairs” is way more important than the people and the country.”

“They son-in-law and fater-in-law are offering Lebanon to Hassan Nasrallah in order to offer for the latter to offer them the Presidency, so that he will rule in the name of Nasrallah at the expense of Lebanon and the Lebanese,” the statement concluded.
