In response to statements by Saudi Arabia’s Information Minister George Kordahi, Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib urged for discussion to settle the current crisis that arose between the two countries.

“Problems between friendly and fraternal countries can only be resolved via negotiation, communication, and trust, and this applies to Lebanon and Saudi Arabia case,” Bou Habib told AFP.

“Lebanon calls on Saudi Arabia to participate in talks to resolve all outstanding issues, not only the most recent issue, so that the same crisis does not return every time,” he added.
