Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned, in an issued statement this evening, “the terrorist bombing that took place on Taksim Street in Istanbul, which led to the fall of a large number of innocent martyrs and the injury of many others, according to preliminary information.”

The Ministry offered its “deepest condolences to the government of the friendly Republic of Turkey and the families of the victims,” while wishing “a speedy recovery for the injured.”

It also affirmed its “full solidarity with Turkey in these dire circumstances.”
