A diplomatic source told MTV website that “Relevant authorities in the Gulf states are about to impose Arab, and Gulf Arab sanctions in particular, on a number of Lebanese politicians due to the collapse they engendered in Lebanon’s economic and political conditions and its Arab relations.”

Such a step shows that Gulf countries continue to pay particular attention to the Lebanese crisis, but this time they will see it through a new development that, upon its occurrence, will cause a shock inside Lebanon. On a side note, the source did not specify the names of those who will be targeted by the sanctions.
