The head of the “Lebanese Forces” party, Samir Geagea, issued the following statement:

“The claim made in some media outlets that Hezbollah is bringing weapons from Iran into Lebanon via Beirut airport is a delicate, dangerous, and emergency issue that requires an urgent and necessary meeting for the caretaker government to preserve the security and stability of the Lebanese people at this critical juncture in their history.”

The caretaker government must act swiftly, seriously, and effectively because, according to the statement, “some issues cannot be postponed, delayed, or covered if they are correct.”
