Today, the judicial authorities in Luxembourg opened a criminal case related to the governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Riad Salameh, and his assets, according to “Reuters”.
Reuters reported that a spokesman for the Banque du Liban did not comment on the opening of a lawsuit against Riad Salemeh in Luxembourg.
IMPACT: Luxembourg has become the third European country — after France and Switzerland — to open a criminal case into Lebanon’s Central Bank Governor Riad Salame.
