Makhzoumi called on Britain and international community to stand by the Lebanese

The Head of the National Dialogue Party MP Fouad Makhzoumi received at his residence the British Ambassador to Lebanon Ian Collard and the political officer at the embassy, ​​Gavin Tench, in the presence of the President of the Makhzoumi Foundation May Makhzoumi, the political advisor Dr. Carol Zwain and the Mayor of Yahchush Karl Zwain, were they discussed the situation in Lebanon and the region.

Makhzoumi stressed the importance of the Lebanese-British relations, and thanked the Kingdom’s constant interest in Lebanon and its stability, especially in light of the tough circumstances the country is going through and the challenges faced by the Lebanese.

Makhzoumi called on Britain and the international community to stand by the Lebanese people, especially amid the formation of a government that does not differ from its predecessors in the method of formation and quotas, and cannot meet the aspirations of the Lebanese to mitigate the severity of the economic, social and political crises.

Makhzoumi betted on the adherence of the Lebanese and the youth in particular, as well as the international community to put pressure on rulers to hold the parliamentary elections on time, which would be a real prelude for change.
