Interior and Municipalities Minister, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, followed up throughout the day with the concerned parties on the measures taken to extinguish the fire that broke out in the outskirts of the towns of Bazal and Habshit in Akkar yesterday.

In this connection, a military helicopter was used in coordination with the army’s air force, to control the fire and prevent its wide-spread.
