Caretaker Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, tweeted today on Independence Day, saying: “Independence…is by assuming responsibility in defense of the homeland, in preserving sovereignty and the eternal entity, and in safeguarding institutions and adhering to the legitimacy represented by the security forces and the army.”
