The Minister of Interior and Municipalities in the caretaker government, Mhamad Fahmi, discussed with a delegation from the Dinniyye Affairs Follow-up Committee, several issues related to the affairs of the region.

The committee requested to “open the entrance of the Dinniyye road in both directions in the area of Al-Kobbeh,” and asked Minister Fahmi to “instruct the municipality of Tripoli, Mejdlaya and Al-Fawar, not to throw waste on the Dinniyye highway.”

The Committee has as well asked the Minister to assign internal security forces’ members at Al-Fawwar Junction and in front of the mechanical inspection center, in order to avoid suffocating traffic jams.
