In order to lead Lebanon’s delegation to the “Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 28),” which formally begins today in Dubai, caretaker prime minister Najib Mikati has arrived in the United Arab Emirates.

The Minister of Environment Nasser Yassin, the Minister of Energy Walid Fayad, the Ambassador of Lebanon to the United Arab Emirates, Fouad Dandan, and Nicolas Nahas, a former minister who advises the prime minister, are among the members of the Lebanese delegation attending the conference.

The prime minister is expected to speak at the conference on Saturday, tomorrow.
