Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati announced from Bkerki that “we insist on following up on the affairs of the citizens and watching over them, and the Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Mar Beshara Boutros Al-Rahi, is keen on electing a president, and we agree on a consultation session with the ministers to agree on the next steps.”
Mikati said : “During my visit to Saudi Arabia, I did not touch on the file of the Council of Ministers.”
