Najib Mikati, the Prime Minister, conducted a series of diplomatic and ministerial meetings at the Grand Serail on Monday.

In this regard, the Prime Minister welcomed Anne Grillo, the French Ambassador to Lebanon, with whom he addressed bilateral relations as well as the local and regional circumstances.

Premier Mikati also received Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, Jesús Santos Aguado.

Premier Mikati then met with Minister of Agriculture, Abbas Hajj Hassa, who said in the wake of the meeting that discussions mainly touched on the issue of food security, especially wheat cultivation.

Mikati separately met with Minister of Justice, Judge Henry Khoury, over the Justice Ministry’s related affairs.

Moreover, the PM met with Head of the Parliamentary Education Committee, MP Bahia Hariri, with whom he broached the country’s general situation.
