Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdallah Bouhabib, chaired a meeting for the Lebanese delegation negotiating the border demarcation issue, and was briefed by attendees on the committee’s plan, strategy, and vision from a hydrographic, technical, and legal perspective.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also uttered its stance from a political point of view and discussed its perception of the course of this file as the matter is, indeed, political and the decision is up to the government, under the auspices of the President Michel Aoun and Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
