Minister of Industry, George Bouchikian confirmed that he is willing to activate the industrial sector in order to improve quality even more, and that he is making contacts with foreign countries to boost exports, emphasizing “openness to all countries, to increase the marketing of Lebanese industries, and an attempt to open markets in several nations.”

He announced in a radio interview that he will meet separately with Jordan’s Minister of Industry tomorrow to discuss the issue of Lebanese and Jordanian businesses and to learn about the Jordanian market’s demands for trade exchange between the two nations. He also mentioned Monday’s start of the Lebanese-Iraqi conference.
