Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, on Tuesday received in his office at the Ministry, Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nicoletta Bombardieri, where they discussed economic and trade relations between the two countries.

The pair highlighted the importance of preserving the historic trade relations between the two countries.

Minister Salam also welcomed in his office Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, Qian Minjian.

As per a statement by the Ministry’s Press office, discussions touched on areas of cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and Trade and the Chinese Embassy in Lebanon.
