The Ministry of Public Health registered on Saturday 1,790 new COVID-19 cases (1,772 local and 18 expats), bringing the total number of infections to 668,558.

In its report, the ministry pointed out that “12 new deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of deaths to 8836.”
