The general manager of Mkattaf company, Michel Mkattaf,  indicated that all the company’s accounts are declared to the Supervisory Committee and the Banque du Liban, and all numbers go to the Lebanese state.

“It is not possible for us to transfer people’s money abroad,” Mkattaf said in a media interview. It is important to me that public knows the truth. We buy cash from banks and money changers and ship it abroad based on supply. We do not deal with depositors, but only with banks.
