Head of the Independence Movement, resigned MP Michel Moawad, tweeted: “The intimidation that Sayyed Nasrallah practiced yesterday against Judge Tariq Bitar, confirms once again that no state, no judiciary, no accountability, and no reforms are possible, under the hegemony of weapons. Real change and reform, must pass through sovereignty’s door. Whoever protects the perpetrators, and neglect the people in the port crime, is also protecting the corrupt.”
